Boston Celtics At New York Knicks
The Celtics and Knicks both earned victories after the All-Star break so they’ll be looking to keep momentum flowing on Sunday. Boston defeated the Pistons 110-98 which was mainly helped by a 38 point 2nd quarter. While for the Knicks, they outlasted the Magic on the road 120-113.
The last meeting between the two sides was an absolute thrashing at this venue. Boston carved up the Knicks D on their way to a 103-73 win. They’ve won the last two at MSG by 20+ points so the Knicks need to find ways of shutting down this offence. The Knicks are 16-12 at home this season but the Celtics just seem to have their number. Boston has one of the best defensive records in the NBA and that will be the difference again. They’re 20-8 on the road as well and 32-15 as a favourite in the betting.

Oklahoma City Thunder At Golden State Warriors
The Thunder and Warriors meet once again this Sunday. Before the break, the Thunder played one of their best games of the season as they defeated Warriors 125-105. OKC is now 2-0 against the Warriors and have won both by 17+ points. For the Warriors, they opened up their offence with 134 points against the Clippers after the All-Star break. They’ve now scored 120+ in their last four home games, but I would say the Thunder will be a different challenge compared to the teams they’ve been playing.
The betting trends for this matchup show that this game should fall in the under points total. It’s 8-1 when the Thunder head to the Oracle Arena. The Thunder are also 14-6 against the under against the Warriors since 2014. In the end, the Thunder have the defence to stop the Warriors high powered offence and I’ll back them to keep this game under the points.
